Designed for temperatures as low as -30°F, the Hurtta Extreme Warmer uses a windproof outer shell with 100g PrimaLoft Gold insulation in the core body sections and 40g Primaloft in the leg coverage areas, providing a system-level warmth solution for large short-haired breeds like Doberman Pinschers, Boxers, Vizslas, and Greyhounds that lack meaningful insulating undercoats. The tubular leg loops keep the coat positioned correctly during vigorous winter activity without restricting the natural stride, and the tail tunnel prevents drafts reaching the hindquarters where short-coated large breeds lose significant body heat.
